Panel participants from the Western Conference of the Association for Asian Studies are eligible to submit their papers for publication consideration. Our "Selected Papers" series from the Western Conference is the longest-running among AAS regions, with nearly eighty papers published to date.
Manuscripts should be sent to Greg Lewis (address below).
To be considered for publication, manuscripts should be no longer than 7,500 words (about 30 pages), should follow the format specified by Kate Turabian's "A Manual for Writers" (7th edition), and should be double-spaced. Manuscripts should be camera-ready. Please send three copies of all submissions and include a stamped, self-addressed envelope if the manuscript is to be returned. Authors name should be on a sheet separate from the rest of the manuscript.
After prescreening, articles are anonymously refereed by at least two specialist readers.
