NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies is holding a conference on the life, work, and influence of Lorraine Hansberry on March 16 and 17 of 2001.

We invite submissions from any field or discipline in the humanities on a subject related to the life and work of Lorraine Hansberry or on a topic that explores the politics and culture of the 1950s and 1960s with an eye to Hansberry's role as an artist and/or activist.
