Because the calendar section of SHAFR Newsletter published an incorrect date for the deadline for submitting proposals for the 2001 meeting of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, we are again announcing the Call for Papers. Please note that the correct deadline for submissions is December 1, 2000.
SHAFR Call for Papers
The Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations invites submissions for its Twenty-Seventh Annual Conference, hosted by American University in Washington, D.C., from June 14 to June 16, 2001.
We invite proposals that deal with the broadest possible range of topics in international history and foreign relations. Preference will be given to complete panels and roundtables. As always, we welcome submissions from graduate students.
Please send proposals - including a one page abstract for each paper, a current one-page c.v., and mailing and e-mail address for each participant. We strongly encourage the submission of proposals and supporting materials by e-mail, either as attachments (preferably saved in "RTF" format) or "pasted text."
The deadline for submissions is December 1, 2000. Proposals and supporting materials should be addressed to Richard H. Immerman at: shafr2001@hotmail.com. The mailing address is:
