The Graduate History Association of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites all graduate and advanced undergraduate students to submit papers of original research for presentation and discussion. Papers may cover any historical field and period and should not exceed 15 pages (double spaced) in length. Reading time should be 15-20 minutes. The Graduate History Association will award two $100 prizes for the best papers. Proposals consisting of a one-page abstract and a curriculum vitae should be submitted by January 15, 2001. Deadline for the submission of completed papers is February 21, 2001. The $25 registration fee includes a reception and plenary lecture on Friday evening and the awards luncheon and keynote address on Saturday.
