The Centre for American Studies at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada, will hold its second graduate student conference, American Studies 2001, on 26/27 January 2001. Proposals for papers dealing with any aspect of the study of American history, literature, culture, economics, politics, geography and technology are invited from graduate students. Proposals for both individual papers or complete panels (2-3 papers + respondent) are welcome. Proposals for each paper and for complete panels should be one page in length and be accompanied by a one page CV.
Please submit two (2) copies of the proposal. Proposals will be accepted by mail, fax and Email and should be addressed to Prof. Margaret M. R. Kellow, Centre for American Studies.
