SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY

"Interdependence in World History in the 21st Century"

We welcome submissions exploring cross-cultural and comparative studies with special interest on ethnicity, immigration, geography, and similar narratives. But ALL papers concerned with World History are welcome.

To fulfill one of WHAT's missions, that of strengthening the cooperation between Higher Education and Public Education, we encourage public school teachers to share their ideas and methods of presenting World History.

To Present:

1. Proposals for complete sessions are encouraged.

2. Conference presentations should not exceed twenty minutes in duration and papers should be limited to 10 pages.

3. Please use the Proposal Form.

The Deadline for Proposals is January 15, 2001.
