The Conference will be of interest to researchers in information science, social sciences, psychology, information and communication technologies, education
and learning, media, culture and business.
Papers, which will be fully refereed, are invited on the following themes:
* citizenship and democracy
* social inclusion
* sustainability
* access to culture
* learning
* finding, using and transforming information
* impact on daily life, for example e-commerce
Conference papers will be published electronically and on paper.
Papers should be submitted to Maureen Dickson (address below) by 10 November, 2000. As a minimum, an abstract of 1000 words is required which should be sufficiently complete and detailed for effective refereeing.
Reports of research projects should have sufficient results to provide conclusions or facilitate debate. Review and analytical papers will also be considered.
