Ohio Valley History, a new regional journal, will premiere in January 2001. The new journal, which will replace Queen City Heritage as the Journal of the Cincinnati Historical Society, is a collaborative project of the University of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Museum Center. Wayne K. Durrill and Christopher Phillips will edit the journal.
We expect Ohio Valley History to become the leading historical journal in this region. Ohio Valley History will publish articles on the history of the Ohio Valley region, broadly defined, and reviews of books, films, and exhibits. The journal will ordinarily carry researched articles plus two or three essays and a number of book reviews. The articles will be peer-reviewed and may be on any subject or time period in the Ohio Valley's past.
Please submit two hard copies of articles, approximately 25 pages in length (excluding endnotes) to the editors for evaluation.
