The Texas Tech Graduate English Society welcomes graduate students to submit print or electronic abstracts and panel presentation proposals (250 words) on any aspect of popular and American culture.

Topics for the Popular and American Culture area include, but are not limited to:

Movies/Video
Film/Literature Adaptation
Film-to-Film Adaptation
Popular Fiction
Modern Folklore
Rituals and Beliefs

E-mail submissions strongly encouraged; please put GES Conference in the subject line for all electronic submissions. Participants may present no more than two papers or be on no more than two panels.

**Accepted presentations will be published in a conference proceedings.**
