The SOUTHWEST / TEXAS POPULAR CULTURE AND AMERICAN CULTURE ASSOCIATION’ÄôS
annual meeting, March 7-10, 2001 at the Sheraton Old Town in
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
* * * The NEW MEXICO STUDIES AREA * * *
invites papers for the annual meeting on any aspect of NEW MEXICO
STUDIES, broadly construed....
Papers related to art, film, material culture, locale, cultural
identities, tourism, the culture industry, cultural landscape,
Hispano/Chicano studies, and Native American studies are especially
encouraged.
If you would like to submit a paper to this area, please send a 100 to
200 word abstract by Nov. 1, 2000 to Michael J.Riley (address below.
E-mail submissions are welcomed. Graduate student submissions are welcomed.
The association is organized into a myriad of individual areas, one of
which is NEW MEXICO STUDIES. The annual meeting will be held March
7-10, 2001 at the Sheraton Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
