This biennial conference will be located in Australia's capital city in the year of the centenary of federation (when the Australian nation was created) and this is reflected in the conference title. Proposed papers/presentations should relate to this theme or to the main conference strands: relations/reconciliation between indigenous and settler peoples pragmatics/methodologies making and remaking nationhood collaboration (between oral history and other disciplines/activities).
