This two-day conference explores the impact of empire on culture, consumption, and identity in Britain and its colonies in the eighteenth century. Participants include: Philip Morgan, Jennifer Morgan, Richard Drayton, Ned Landsman, Michael Fisher, K. Dian Kriz, Felicity Nussbaum, Beth Fowkes Tobin, Harriet Guest, Linda Colley, and Dror Wahrman. The conference organizer is Kathleen Wilson.
