On Friday and Saturday, conference goers can choose from among 51 sessions on a wide range of topics. In addition, OAH Professional Development Certificates will be offered to pre-collegiate history teachers in attendance.

The conference is cosponsored by the Iowa State University Department of History. Registration for OAH members before 14 July 2000 is $40.00, or $20.00 for OAH student and History Educator members. Non-member registration is $45.00 before 14 July, or $25.00 for non-member student and K-12 teachers.
