Seminar events will take place on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus, opening with a keynote address by Michael James, "In the Beginning: Musings on the Birth of the Studio Art Quilt Movement." Six research papers on a variety of topics will be presented during the weekend. Additional activities include a session about The Alliance for American Quilts, discussion groups and study centers.
