The University Libraries at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is pleased to announce a conference honoring the noted folklorist, Benjamin A. Botkin (1901-1975). The Libraries has chosen to honor the centenary of Botkin's birth with a conference that will explore the impact of his work as a major figure in American folklore. The conference will take place on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on February 1-3, 2001.
