Please visit "IVORY DOGHOUSE" a new website of interest to anyone in the academic arts and humanities. Its primary foci are the academic job market, academic labor, and underemployment among arts and humanities scholars. There is a selection of sites with critique and research on the situation; the user can make a quick survey among scholarly societies on their approaches; links to contacts and academic labor advocacy organizations; and some sources of advice and community for the grad student, and new Ph.D.
First-person accounts and commentary from readers is strongly encouraged.
