Call for Panel Proposals: The Society for Historians of the Gilded Age and
Progressive Era (SHGAPE) at the American Historical Association and the
Organization of American Historians annual meetings.
There is still time for SHGAPE to sponsor panels independently at the
AHA and OAH 2001. SHGAPE's deadline is April 30, 2000.
SHGAPE co-sponsors panels with the AHA and OAH at their annual
meetings. SHGAPE also sponsors its own panels at the AHA (as an
affiliated society) and at the OAH (through the Pocket Program). The
AHA's deadline for panel proposals at its 2001 meeting in Boston 1/4-7
was February 15, 2000. The OAH's deadline for panel proposals for its
2001 meeting in Los Angeles 4/26-29 was Jan. 12, 2000.
To have your panel considered as part of SHGAPE's program, send a
complete copy of the proposal to Ballard Campbell at the address or e-mail below.
The AHA 2002 meets in San Francisco, 1/3-6. The OAH 2002 meets in
Washington, D.C., 4/11-14.
