The second annual conference titled, "The Women of Appalachia: Their Heritage and Accomplishments" will be held at the Zanesville campus of
Ohio University in Zanesville, Ohio on October 26, 27, 28, 2000.
Featured sessions include the Reel World String Band, Sharyn McCrumb, a panel including Helen Lewis, Roberta Campbell and Joy Padgett discussing "What
it Means to be Appalachian," storyteller June Berkley, and Mimi Pickering
