Mediterranean Programme Summer-School
3-14 July 2000

Duration
The Mediterranean Programme Summer-School will take place at the European University Institute in Florence, from 3rd to 14th July 2000. Students should arrive in Florence on 2nd July and leave on 15th July.
Financial support
Upon request, a limited number of grants for travel and accommodation may be provided by the Mediterranean Programme.
Requirements
The Summer-School is open to candidates presently completing their PhD, as well as to post-doctoral fellows who have completed their PhD in the past two years.
There are no conditions as regards nationality or age.
The candidates must have a working knowledge of English and/or French.
Organisation of the Summer-School
The Summer-School will be organised according to the following schedule:
- daily lectures given by senior scholars;
- three workshops operating daily: the students will be divided into three groups (WS1. Citizenship, WS2. Democracy, WS3. Growth). They will join one of these three workshops depending on their topic.
With the application form, send a curriculum vitae, names of two referees and a short presentation of your present research (5 pages).
