The Camden County Historical Society invites papers for a one day conference, “Pens to Battleships: Industrialism in the Delaware Valley 1850-1950.” This will be held on November 4, 2000 in conjunction with its exhibit, IN HARM’S WAY: New York Shipbuilding in WWII. Applicants should submit an abstract (500 words) and CV by June 30, 2000. Special consideration will be given to paper topics dealing with Camden, NJ industry and shipbuilding along the Delaware River.
