The Georgia Political Science Association will gather for its 2001 Annual Meeting at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, February 23-24, 2001. Following a 2000 meeting which drew 130 panel participants from 17 states of the Union and 17 countries, the GPSA is looking forward to a stong 2001 conference. Charles Bullock of the University of Georgia will serve as Program Chair. Please contact him at csbullock@peachnet.campuscwix.net regarding panels, presentations, papers and proposals for the 2001 meeting.
For lodging, there are two room options: Island View - $85, and Ocean View - $105. In addition, there is a mandatory $8 service fee, and of course taxes. The number for reservations is: 843-681-4000 or 1-800-Westin-1. When making reservations, please indicate that you are with the Georgia Political Science Association.
Reserve your rooms early, if you wish to be located at the Westin. The block of rooms at the 2000 meeting were filled by November and many participants had to stay elsewhere on the island. If you register early, we may be able to open up more rooms at the Westin.
