To celebrate Women's History Month, Historic St. Mary's City will present "A Conversation with the Young Martha Washington," featuring Susan Zickel, at 7 p.m. Friday, March 10.

Zickel, interpretive programs coordinator at the museum marking the site of Maryland's 17th century capital, developed the program when she was on the staff at Colonial Williamsburg.

The program offers audience members a chance to "converse" with Martha Washington (then the wealthy widow Martha Custis) in 1760.

The event will be held in the Visitor center at Route 5 and Rosecroft Road. Friends of the museum will be admitted free; general admission will be $2.
