Financial support is available for Graduate students to attend the Urban History Group conference, University of Bristol, 6-7 April 2000. The theme of the conference is "Towns, Cities and Competition: inter and intra-city rivalries since 1750."
Please send completed application form (available from www.le.ac.uk/urbanhist or from ehsocsec@arts.gla.ac.uk ) to Richard Rodger before 17 March 2000. The amounts are intended to cover the residential costs of the meeting for MA and Ph.D students.
