The American Association for History and Computing is conducting a survey of the current tenure, promotion, and review practices regarding technology-related activities across American history departments. The survey results will be shared widely with the history profession (anonymously and only in the aggregate) and will be used as a guide in the creation of recommendations for encouraging and assessing meritorious digital activities in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.
