Women's Private Writing/Writing Women's History, an interdisciplinary
conference, will be held June 15-18, 2000, at the University of New England/Westbrook College Campus, Portland, Maine. The keynote speaker will be Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, Harvard University. Her talk will be "Getting All the Butter From the Duck: The Art of Reading Women's Diaries."
