The Centre Aequatoria website is on line since november 1999. It contains a description of the ideological basises of the Centre, its history, and current activities. The Centre is based at Bamanya, a suburb of Mbandaka, the capital of the Equator province of the Rep.Dem. Congo. Founded in 1937, refounded in 1980 it publishes a periodical 'Annales Aequatoria', runs a research library (15.000 volumes), host researchers from Congo and abroad, organizes summer schools. Its remarquable archives are now available on microfiches (CAMP and others).
