Individual paper propsals are invited for the forthcoming Burma Studies
Conference to be held at Northern Illinois University on October 13-15,
2000. All disciplines and academic topics related to the study of Burma
are welcome. The deadline for paper proposals is February 1, 2000.
Please fill out the attached form with the title of you paper, an
abstract (no more than one page), affiliation, a list of the types of
audio-visual equipment you may require, and an e-mail address (if you
have one) and mail to Sylvia Fraser-Lu at the address below or proposals may also be made via e-mail.
