Essays in History, the annual history journal sponsored by the Corcoran Department of History, is now accepting submissions for our year 2000 edition (Volume 42). Now in its fifth decade, Essays in History has appeared in an online format since 1991. We solicit submission of papers in all fields of history by all scholars, from undergraduates to tenured professors. Our guidelines are that articles be approximately 20-30 pages long and that they be based on original research.

Please submit 3 hard copies and one 3.5" diskette by January 15, 2000 to address below.
