The Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association will hold
its next annual meeting at Park City, Utah, on August 3-6, 2000. The
program committee requests individual paper or full-panel proposals on any
aspect of history and historical writing. Full-panel proposals are
especially encouraged. Proposals should include (1) a cover page
summarizing the panel and identifying each participant, (2) a 1-page
synopsis of each paper, and (3) a 1-2 page vitae for each presenter. Be
sure to include names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of all
participants. Also indicate any audio-visual requirements for your
presentation. Send five copies of the proposal to the program co-chair listed below.
DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1, 1999 (extended). Expect notification regarding
acceptance in January 2000. Additional committee members: co-chair Paul Hirt
(Washington State University), David Yoo (Claremont McKenna), Michelle
Maskiell (Montana State), Jim Gump (Univ. of San Diego), and Vickie Ruiz
(Arizona State).
