Mephistos has been rescheduled for February 4-5, 2000 in Norman, Oklahoma
Mephistos is an annual conference for graduate students of all disciplines who are interested in presenting work dealing with the history, philosophy, social studies or rhetoric of science, technology and medicine, as well as environmental history. For those of you unfamiliar with Mephistos, this is a conference that takes pride in providing a congenial and easy-going atmosphere where graduate students can exchange work and get to know each other. Mephistos, similar to other regional graduate student conferences, gives us a unique opportunity to present research in a low-pressure, but no less sophisticated, environment.
