Keynote Address and Symposium at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in conjunction with the special exhibition:
Paris 1900: The "American School" at the Universal Exposition
Proposals are welcome that address any aspect of American culture abroad - including travel and tourism, imperialism, the expatriate experience and the exportation of American culture - from a disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective.
Graduate students from Mid-Atlantic and neighboring regions are invited to submit a 250-word abstract to:
