The annual meeting of the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association and American Culture Association will be held at the Sheraton Old Town Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico from February 9-12, 2000.

interdisciplinary work welcome
Areas of study represented at this conference include literature,
history, geography, politics, art history, architecture, music,
gender studies, sports history, military history, and more.
I will be happy to receive Native American Studies proposals
grounded in any of these fields, and in others not mentioned
above. I would also like to organize at least one panel on the
work of Louis Owens, in addition to panels on various other topics.
