The University of Hawai`i Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal (APLPJ)
seeks papers for its inaugural edition to be published in January. The
Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal is a web-based periodical that serves both practitioners and scholars who work with Asian or Pacific legal issues. To be an effective resource to practitioners and scholars of Asian-Pacific law, the Journal seeks articles, commentaries, and translations.
Articles and commentaries should address new legal developments from or affecting Asia, Asian nations, or the Central and Western Pacific region.
The Journal also welcomes relevant articles or commentaries that evoke discussion.
Translations should be of significant cases or recently enacted law, or promulgated rules or regulations from the nations in the Asian-Pacific region.
Submissions must be double-spaced and in English. Please include with any printed submission an exact copy saved on floppy disk, or send a saved copy as an attachment via e-mail. For the inaugural edition, please submit your work no later than November 1, 1999.
