The Consortium on Revolutionary Europe will hold its annual meeting in Huntsville, Alabama from Thursday, March 2 through Sunday, March 5, 2000. The Consortium welcomes papers dealing with European events from 1750 to 1850, and Europe's impact on the rest of the world. The conference seeks a balance of papers in the general areas of social, political, diplomatic, military, intellectual, economic, art and women's history. North American scholars, scholars from overseas and graduate students are all encouraged to submit proposals to the program chair. Individual proposals and proposals for full panels will be considered. Submit proposals by October 30, 1999.
Several papers are published each year in Selected Papers of the Consortium on Revolutionary Europe.
