The Fourth convention of the European Business History Association will take place in Bordeaux, on Friday 15 & Saturday 16 September 2000, at the Political Sciences Institute of Bordeaux (University campus of Talence).
Researchers and academics, either or not members of the European Business History Association, are invited to propose papers linked with the issues developed in the 'Conference topics'.
They can propose a session of an hour long, with three papers (or four at most), each one prepared by an individual or by several associated colleagues.
They can also offer a sole paper proposal, that the scientific advice committee will join with other papers to build a session dedicated to a broader subject.
This session or paper proposal, presented through one page of text, will be scrutinised by the scientific committee, which will accept it at once, demand for some more information or reject it.
The deadline for each proposal is January 15, 2000. Committee decisions will be known by the end of February 2000. The text of every paper has to be sent to the steering committee ultimately for August 15, 2000 (see address below). ‘Official languages’ of the conference will be English and French.
Proceedings of the conference will be published in 2001.
