Please submit proposals for papers, panels and/or workshops on topics related to the presence of Africans and their descendants in the Atlantic basin and elsewhere in the Diaspora. Ideal panels will be both international and interdisciplinary in scope and offer models and methodologies that lead to the creation of new knowledge about the experiences and cultures of Africans in the Diaspora. We encourage the planners of workshops and panels to recruit some of the participants from countries and disciplines other than their own. Conference co-sponsored by College of William and Mary Middle Passage Project, Collegium for African American Research (CAAR), and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
