Romantic Prose Fiction--a new volume in the ICLA Comparative Literary History Series
A new volume on Romantic Prose Fiction has been planned for the Romanticism subseries of the Comparative History of Literatures in European Languages, under the aegis of the International Comparative Literature Association. The editors invite proposals of chapters with crosscultural or interdisciplinary sweep on all aspects of Romantic imaginative narration in prose. This volume will strive to encompass the literary streams of most of Europe and the New World expressed in European languages.
In submitting a topic for consideration, please indicate briefly some of the characteristic authors and works you will treat. Potential contributors can obtain a fuller description of the project at our homepage.
Interested persons can direct proposals or inquiries to any of the editors (in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish):
- Bernard Dieterle, kaosoigb@calvados.zrz.TU-Berlin.DE
- Manfred Engel, Manfred.Engel@Fernuni-hagen.de
- Gerald Gillespie, gillespi@leland.Stanford.EDU
