Bowling Green State University, June 1-3, 2000
The themes of the Conference are: the historical roots and policy aspects
of political, cultural, and social inequality; and the policy aspects of
borders, including their political, social, cultural, and economic
ramifications. We invite papers and panels that explore the relationship
among women, gender, and public policy. Historians, political scientists,
sociologists, economists, activists, and members of the policy community
are invited to submit proposals for papers or panels.
Complete proposals will take the form of a cover sheet, including panel or
paper topic, names and contacts for proposed participants; a one-page
resume for each participant; a 250 word summary for individual papers or,
in the case of panels, a 250 word summary of each paper or a 500 word
summary of the complete panel. All proposals must be received by November
1, 1999.
