Organized by The University of Hamburg, History Department and The Joachim
Jungius-Gesellschaft für Wissenschaften. In the tradition of former
Summerschools on the History of European Expansion, organized by the European
Science Foundation and the Leiden Center for the History of European Expansion,
the organizers like to stimulate the debate on the above mentioned topic.
Scholars are invited to participate by presenting papers of their own. There
are up to twenty grants for free accomodation and part of the travel expenses
etc. Proposals should include an abstract of about 500 words. Ph. D. requir
