Authors Needed
The Encyclopedia of Chicago History, a Newberry Library project
developed with the cooperation of the Chicago Historical Society, is
looking for authors for the following entries. Each entry must provide a
history of the topic as it relates to the Chicago metropolitan area. We
will provide detailed guidelines and samples. The Encyclopedia will be
published by the University of Chicago Press and has received major
funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities in addition to
local donors. Its editors are James Grossman, Ann Keating, and Jan Reiff.
The honorarium for each entry ranges from $50 to $170, along with a
discount on purchase of the encyclopedia.
Anyone interested please email Brandon Johnson at the Newberry Libary
(johnsonb@newberry.org) and include a statement of qualifications or a c.v.
