A Chinese Genealogy and Local History Conference will be held at Utah
Valley State College, September 6-9, 1999. The conference has been
organized to increase awareness and promote the use of Chinese genealogies,
local gazetteers, and all other sources of local history documentation.
Participants are expected from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and North America.
Co-sponsors: Brigham Young University, Genealogical Society of Utah, and
Utah Valley State College.
