Subject: ELECTION REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Registering to vote in the 2007 H-Net elections:
PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO REGISTER. We cannot
guarantee that a staff member will be available to help you at the
moment you contact us about a problem with registering or voting, so
please note the calendar we have distributed and leave a window of time
before the end of the registration and voting periods to register and
to cast a ballot.
1. Login to your profile in the editors' directory to make sure that
the information in it is correct, and to update where

2. Go to the elections website http://www.h-net.org/about
and click on "Register to Vote." Login using your e-mail address and
password from the editors' directory.
3. The next page displays two entries fetched from the editors'
directory: your email address and the lists or positions recorded for
you in your profile. If everything is correct click on "register to
vote." If it is not correct, return to the editors' directory to make
corrections, and then start again at Step 2 above.
4. The system will then generate login credentials for voting. You
can return and "register" as many times as you want before registration
closes, but only the most recent credentials will successfully log you
into the voting site.
5. Print or save the credentials page for your records.
