COSEF is a national, non governmental, non lucrative and non partisan organization
COSEF"s aims are to:
- Develop female leadership on all levels.
- Fight all types of discriminations against women
- Bring more and more women to the decision-making process.
COSEF is represented in the ten regions of Senegal, in each of the thirty departments of the country and the rural communities.
Missions and goals
COSEF's actions concern urban and rural women
COSEF examines the conditions of women's lives, and also conducts research
on women's relationship with the society.
Programs
COSEF participates in all actions Concerning women even when they are lead by other women organizations
COSEF elaborates strategic actions to preserve the dignity and the physical integrety of women (including actions against domestic assault)
COSEF collects,analyses all textes and conventions about women
Now COSEF wants to exchange experiences with other sister organizations
