Why a Drum?

Traditionally, a drum is often used to call for a gathering to either convey a message or discuss issues within a given community.

PARTNERS

In implementing our Democratic governance (DG) program we partner with four US private voluntary organizations (PVO). Each PVO also works in partnership with local non-governmental organizations (NGO). They are:

- CARE; Save the Children/US; World Education; CLUSA -
through the Cooperative Agreement mechanism. Malian NGOs are
intermediaries and beneficiaries as well. Community Organizations and their
federations in target communes are the ultimate beneficiaries of the
program.
