Become a Member of the Business History Conference
The Business History Conference is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization devoted to encouraging all aspects of research, writing, and teaching of business history and the environment in which business operates. You will find the current bylaws, as well as a complete list of BHC presidents and of current trustees and officers in the Governance section of our pages. Today, the organization is international in scope, with over 400 members, approximately 15 percent of whom reside outside North America. Members are automatically subscribed to the organization's quarterly scholarly journal, Enterprise & Society. The Business History Conference welcomes new members, and particularly encourages graduate students, scholars outside the United States, and those practicing business history within areas of specialization outside history and economic history to join. We urge members to subscribe to the organization's electronic discussion group, H-Business for a quick and easy way to engage in conversation and to receive notices of events of interest. Current membership fees are: $100.00 (sustaining), $60.00 (individual), and $30.00 (student). To join the BHC or renew your membership on-line, go to http://www.acteva.com/booking.cfm?bevaid=161365. If you prefer to pay by check, you may print and mail the form on our Web site. Please direct inquiries to the Secretary-Treasurer, Roger Horowitz. |
